What a night!
On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, Washingtonville Housing Alliance proudly hosted Ritz on the Rails at Modern on the Rails in Mamaroneck. It was great to be back together for the first time in three years for an exciting night of fun and fundraising.
With the help of supporters, new and old, we raised over $48,000, including over $2,500 towards the Brother Keith Yizar Scholarship Fund! These critical funds will support our work preserving affordable housing and enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable residents in the Mamaroneck area all year long.
WHA took the occasion to honor two tremendous and deserving honorees. The Marzella Garland Award was presented to CURE (The Coalition for Understanding Racism through Education) for their longstanding service and partnership within the community. St. John’s Episcopal Church in Larchmont was honored with The Good Neighbor Award for truly exemplifying what it means to be not just good, but a great neighbor. We were also proud to introduce the Brother Keith Yizar Scholarship in memory of our dear partner and friend.
We thank all who joined us to support our mission. WHA is lucky to be able to count on dedicated supporters who stand by our Mamaroneck community. We are already looking forward to seeing you at the next event!
