WHA Selected as Preferred Developer for Hunter Tier Parking Lot

We are thrilled to announce that Washingtonville Housing Alliance has been selected as the preferred developer for the Hunter Tier Parking lot! Since submitting our original proposal in October 2023, we’ve engaged community stakeholders to hear and understand their feedback and responded by updating our original proposal to best meet the goals of the Village and its residents. All along, our goals have been consistent: to create attractive, contextual, and green affordable housing that the entire community can be proud of while rebuilding the dilapidated public parking lot. 

Plans for Hunter Terrace now include 62 residential units and 180 total parking spaces, 125 of which will be for public use. We removed all three-bedroom units while maintaining the sustainable design standards and flood mitigation measures included in our original proposal.
